UKIP Gateway Setup Files

The ax25<->IP mappings of the gateway files are co-ordinated on behalf of the UKIP Group by Paul G4APL. If you have any questions or comments please see the contact details on the home page.

This file explains what is required to produce the latest gateway files for Jnos and other gateway programs on both Dos and Linux platforms.

Platform	File Name	Notes
Dos & Linux	gateway-v23.txt (43Kbytes)	This is the data file used by the above.
Dos	11/01/03 - temporarily unavailable	This has the Dos versions of the useful Unix/Linux commands required in the scripts.
Dos & Linux	gate_1-2.zip (7k)	This contains relevant example work files and the script program to build the gateway files (only required once unless there is a new version). Thanks goto Robin g8ecj@gb7ipd for these scripts.

Notes:

TNOS	With Gareth's (G4HIP@GB7BBC) mods the gateway file can be used in its native format to provide all the necessary facilities
Linux JNOS	Stuart G7JYF used this simple bash script to update his system STUINST
